Wait till tomorrow

Listen, when you said that you loved me, was it true
or did you lie, like so many times befor
Isn’t there a kind of confirmation, some kind of prove
so I can tell your lies from what is true

Everytime when I see your smile
I wonder if it’s real
Or just an easy way to cover lies
tell me now what do you feel

Wait till tomorrow, feelings run down
maybe tomorrow, we can talk about
all the things that remind us of happier times
and maybe tomorrow opens up our eyes
so wait till tomorrow

Listen, when I say that I love you, you know it’s true
for I don’t lie and I’ve never done befor
You know there isn’t, not a single thing I’m hiding, no not from you
and you can read in my eyes that it’s true

If we tried just one more time
befor we say we’re through
and we’d release our suspicious mind
there’s somuch more that we can do

Wait till tomorrow, feelings run down
maybe tomorrow, we can talk about
all the things that remind us of happier times
and maybe tomorrow opens up our eyes
so wait till tomorrow
wail till tomorrow
